About Harry

Harry Manners was born in London in 1991. He spent his younger years in Middlesex, where he discovered his love of books.

His family relocated to Bedfordshire when he was 13, where he spent his teens writing short stories and fan-fiction. During this time he completed a fan-fiction novel-length work, along with a promptly abandoned techno-thriller novel.

After graduating from college Harry produced several science fiction works in the science fiction and fantasy genres, and embarked on the road to publication.

Harry had his first story accepted by Sirens Call Publications in July 2012, titled A Birthday To Remember. His first novel, Ruin, was published Autumn 2014, the first instlament in the epic Ruin Saga.  Since then, he has published several other works, including the cli-fi Our Fair Eden, the second instalment to the Ruin Saga, Brink, and collaborated with other indie authors in several short story collections.

His writing often revolves around the themes of isolation and the degeneracy of civilisation. He currently splits his time between writing and studying as a physics undergraduate, and lives in Bedfordshire with his family.
